Thames Drive Culvert – Chelsea Meadows Subdivision
Project Scope
- Designed three-sided precast concrete box culvert with Redi-Rock head and wing walls.
- Culvert installed over Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) flooding source East Stem Middle Branch of Red Creek. Required FEMA Letter-of-Map-Revision (LOMR) permit.
- Stream was also New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and US Army Corps of Engineer (USACE) regulated and required Freshwater Wetland permits.
- Culvert installed and Thames Drive extended to access parcel and develop 30 single-family residential homes.
