Vanguard Engineering provided construction inspection and administration services for the reconstruction of this busy street which serves the needs of about a dozen businesses, residential homes and apartment buildings. Making it ‘One Way’ and installing curbing helped organize the flow of traffic and uncontrolled parking. Installing sidewalks along the north curbline and ADA compliant handicap ramps significantly improved pedestrian safety. Exposed aggregate concrete helped add an aesthetic flair.
We used an on-line newsletter to communicate daily with involved Residents. It was convenient for them and saved time explaining events on an individual basis.
