Project Scope
- Vanguard Engineering provided construction inspection and administration services. Improvements include rehabilitation and reconstruction of four streets totaling 3,800 lf. Parking and road alignment were improved at adjacent park. Scope of work included: street reconstruction, curb replacement, milling and resurfacing, pervious concrete sidewalks, installation of ADA compliant curb ramps, catch basin replacement/adjustment, manhole frame and cover replacement/adjustment, spot installation of new water main, replacement of all lead and galvanized water services, tree removal.
- Unusual for most street projects was the implementation of SWPPP (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan) and the extensive installation of pervious concrete sidewalks.
- We used an on-line newsletter to communicate daily with involved Residents. It was convenient for them and saved time explaining events on an individual basis.
